The TS series four tank high-energy planetary ball mill can be used for dry grinding, wet grinding, and vacuum grinding. It is an essential device for mixing, fine grinding, sample preparation, nano material dispersion, new product development, and small-scale production of high-tech materials. The TJ series four tank high-energy planetary ball mill is used for rapid batch grinding of research samples to a gelatinous fineness (as small as 0.1 μ m) in higher and vocational colleges, research institutions, and enterprise laboratories, and for mixing, homogenization, and dispersion. Widely used in scientific research and industrial sectors such as geology, soil, metallurgy, electronics, power, materials, chemical engineering, medicine, beauty, environmental protection, ceramics, glass, nuclear research, etc.
Soil grinderworking principle:
Four planetary gears are installed on the same sun gear, and ball mills are installed on the planetary gears. When the turntable rotates, the ball mills rotate around the sun gear shaft and perform a planetary motion. Due to the design of geometry and transmission ratio, the grinding ball can move along an ideal trajectory. The grinding ball moves along the inner wall of the grinding tank until under certain special conditions, the grinding ball suddenly breaks away from this motion state. Passing through the grinding ball, the sample and grinding ball are washed onto the opposite direction of the tank wall. The energy generated during the impact process is several times that of a regular ball mill. The result was a good grinding effect and extremely short grinding time This product can be ground and mixed using both dry and wet methods for products with different particle sizes and materials. The smaller particle size of the ground product can reach 0.1 microns (i.e. 1.0 × 10-4mm)

Operation method:
1. Ball milling tank: Usually, the weight of the four ball milling tanks (tank+matching ball+sample+auxiliary material) should be basically the same to maintain smooth operation, reduce noise caused by vibration, and extend the service life of the equipment. If the sample is insufficient, symmetrical use (only two cans) is also acceptable.
2. Sample: The diameter of the sample is usually less than 1 millimeter, solid particles generally do not exceed 3 millimeters, and soil is allowed to be 10 millimeters.
3. Loading: The larger volume of loading (sample+ball+auxiliary material) is two-thirds of the volume of the ball milling tank, and the remaining one-third is used as operating space.
4. Rotational speed: In order to achieve the desired effect, parameters such as rotational speed, ball milling time, ball matching (reasonable combination of large and small balls), sample size, quantity, and addition of auxiliary materials should be selected appropriately. High speed may not necessarily result in high efficiency. At the beginning of grinding, the rotation speed can be increased (to crush the sample), and after a period of grinding (usually not exceeding 2 minutes), the rotation speed can be reduced to increase the ball milling efficiency. The efficiency of ball milling depends on the appropriate combination of ball size, sample properties, particle size, weight, rotational speed, and operating mode. To improve grinding efficiency and extend the service life of the ball mill, it is not necessary or advisable to set the speed too high.
